Knowledge Alliances are innovative transnational projects which bring Higher Education Institutions and Businesses/enterprises together to work on common issues.
The overall aim is to help strengthen Europe's capacity to innovate and to support the modernisation of Europe's higher education systems.
There are 4 common EU strategic objectives
Making lifelong learning and mobility a reality
Improving the quality and efficiency of education and training
Promoting equity, social cohesion, and active citizenship
Enhancing creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, at all levels of education and training
The other objectives of Knowledge Alliances are the development of new, innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning, stimulating entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial skills of higher education teaching staff and company staff as well as ffacilitation the exchange, flow and co-creation of knowledge.
