Rođen je 15. 03. 1957. godine u mestu Ruski Krstur, opština Kula, Republika Srbija. Osnovnu školu završio je u Novom Sadu. Srednju Elektrotehničku školu završio je 1976 u Novom Sadu. Fakultet tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu, elektrotehnički odsek, završio je 1982 godine na elektrotehničkom odseku, smer energetski istog fakulteta sa prosečnom ocenom postignutom u toku studija 8,04. Diplomski rad pod nazivom "Snage potrošnje električne energije izrazito stambenih područja i dimenzionisanje elemenata distributivnog elektroenergetskog sistema" odbranio je 03. 12. 1982. godine sa ocenom 10 (deset). Poslediplomske studije na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu u Beogradu, završio je iz oblasti električnih mašina, a magistarski rad pod nazivom “Trofazna upravljiva prigušnica na torusnom jezgru” odbranio 27. 12. 1997. Doktorsku disertaciju pod nazivom “PROCENA OTPORA NAMOTAJA STATORA ASINHRONOG MOTORA U POGONU SA PRIRODNOM ORIJENTACIJOM POLJA“ odbranio je 16.10.2008. na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu. Po završetku redovnih studija zaposlio se na Institutu za energetiku i elektroniku Fakulteta tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu, gde i sada radi kao nastavnik na Katedri za Energetsku elektroniku i pretvarače.
