Miro Govedarica, Ph.D., is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. His practical and theoretical results belong to the area of geoinformatics. He published several papers in journals and scientific conference proceedings related to geoinformatics, and he was a project leader in many research international and national projects. The domain of interest include object-oriented software engineering, Geospatial software engineering, Geospatial Databases, development of service-oriented Geoinformation Systems, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Photogrammetry, Laser Scanning, Remote Sensing, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Geoservices, Spatial Data Infrastructure, Spatial Big Data and implementation of new geoinformatics trends in education
