Dr. Nemanja Tasić, was born on October 28, 1980 in Novi Sad, AP Vojvodina, Republic of Serbia. He graduated from Jovan Jovanović - Zmaj high school in Novi Sad. He graduated in 2009 and defended his doctoral dissertation in 2017 at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, majoring in Industrial Engineering and Management. In 2008, he was employed at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad as a professional associate at the IIM/EURO International Postgraduate School within the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. After defending his master's thesis, he was elected to the position of teaching assistant in the course Intelligent Enterprising and Effective Management in 2010. Since March 2018, he has been elected to the position of Assistant Professor and since March 2023 he has been elected to the position of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, where he teaches the following subjects: Intelligent Enterprising and Effective Management, Basics of Industrial Engineering, Performance management, etc. He held the position of secretary of the Department for Production Systems, Organization and Management from 2015 to 2021. In the meantime, he held the position of Assistant Director of the Department for Industrial Engineering and Management from 2018 to 2021, after which he was elected Director of the Department. In the period from 2020-2021. he was the President of the Trade Union Organization of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. As a researcher, he participated in a bilateral project between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Serbia in 2012, in three projects financed by the Provincial Secretariat for Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and in the national project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development - TR35050 entitled " Development of software for managing the overhaul and installation of brake systems of rail vehicles". He stayed at the CEEPUS III international one-month exchange at the Technicum University in Vienna in 2011, 2012 and 2013, at Campus 02 Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft Automation Technology in Graz in 2014 and at Fraunhofer ISI, Karlsruhe, Germany, in October 2016, within European Manufacturing Survey project. He was on a six-month specialization during his doctoral studies as part of the Erasmus Mundus SUNBEAM program at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Split in 2017, where he also finished post-doctoral studies in 2018. He is married and lives in Novi Sad.
