Dr. Vladimir Mandić is a software engineer and scientists with rich international experience. He completed his Ph.D. education in Finland and Maryland, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in Information Processing Science and Software Engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, and M.Sc.E.E from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. He worked for and collaborated with large corporations, such as: Nokia, Ericsson, EXFO, F-Secure, ECOPETROL, Micronas GmbH. His areas of interest are software process improvement, empirical software engineering, goal-driven measurement approaches, and value-based software engineering.
Currently he is a member of teaching staff at Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. Where he is involved in teaching two master level courses, Empirical Software Engineering and Software Quality Assurance, and several undergraduate courses.
He worked at several EU research projects: VASPO (Value-Based Software Process Improvement and Organizational Change, focusing on goal-driven organizational measurement programs), CloudSW (Cloud Software Program, focusing on Lean Software Development), and FLEXI (Flexible Integration in Global Product Development, an ITEA2 project).
Since 2009 he is a member of IEEE Computer society.
