Complex scene design artwork. Subject and contents of the scene design artwork. Selection of exhibition or performing space. Relationship between the space and the work. Relationship towards the audience and its role in exhibiting/performing the work. Outcomes and forms of the scene design artwork. Use of creative means, techniques and media for exhibiting/performing the work. Creative text in scene design. Principles and creative process of the scene design artwork. Forms and phases of the postproduction process.

Lectures, practice, critical workshops, practical exercises, individual and group consultations. Workshops include lectures, discussions, and critical evaluation student’s artwork, as well as artwork from professional practices. During the semester students work on artistic research, formulating theme of the individual artwork, selecting the artistic forms and means, as well as media in relation to the theme.
