The specific objective of the course is to develop skills and knowledge for the application of specific medieval creative ideas and construction techniques in contemporary architecture.

Basic knowledge of architectural types, construction structures, construction techniques and stylistic features of buildings in the Middle Ages. Knowledge of the principles and processes of settling in Europe from V to XV century, as well as types of settlements whose parts are preserved in the tissue of modern settlements.
