The University of Novi Sad is the second largest university in the country. It was founded on 28th June 1960 and is an autonomous, educational, scientific and artistic institution.
FACULTY OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES
The Faculty of Technical Sciences was founded on 18th May 1960 as the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Novi Sad
62 study programmes
The Faculty of Technical Sciences was accredited for performing scientific work in 2007 and in May 2008 it was among the very first higher education institutions in Serbia to be accredited for conducting educational activities on 62 study programmes
11 000 students
There are currently over 11 000 students enrolled at the Faculty of Technical Sciences.
12.787 students graduated
During its first 50 years 12.787 students graduated from the Faculty, 3995 of them received Master’s degrees. The old type Master thesis has been defended by 774 candidates and 332 candidates have received a Doctoral degree from the Faculty
SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
The research activities of the Faculty of Technical Sciences are primarily oriented towards the research projects which are directly or indirectly aimed at practical application in industry.
