Developing the ability to spot and recognize elements - parts of objects, their functions and their significance; Mastering basic concepts of elements, parts and the whole of the architectural framework from the level of the object to the urban level and clear terminological definition; Acquiring knowledge that is adequately represented by architectural elements / circuits / continents through a technical drawing; Acquiring knowledge that enables professional correspondence and introduces students to the problems of architectural creativity; Introduction to the design process and ways of creative thinking, designing the idea and its adequate presentation through technical drawings.
Understanding technical drawings as a graphical way of displaying all spatial structures; Acquiring knowledge about the basic elements in architecture and objects as specific sets of different elements, as well as the implementation of acquired knowledge in the process of understanding the technological process of the creation of architectural objects or other structures in the area, their morphology, materialization, etc. Ability to express a creative process through an appropriate technical term.
Within this course, students are introduced to basic concepts in the field of architecture. The elements are defined, the parts and the whole of the object are noticed, the way of production, positioning and function of certain elements is pointed out, explanations of the ways of their joining within the more complex structures are explained, and the effects from such assemblies arise. It emphasizes the way of building and the necessity of creativity of design in order to achieve functional, safe and aesthetically interesting objects, which is also seen through construction throughout the history. It points to the importance and potential of individual elements within the framework, as well as the significance of the way in which they interact and the principles of design.
