Rođen 1978. godine u Beogradu. Zvanje diplomiranog građevinskog inženjera stekao 2001. godine na Građevinskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu, Odsek za konstrukcije.

Titulu magistra tehničkih nauka stekao 2004. godine na Institutu za zemljotresno inženjerstvo i inženjersku seizmologiju u Skoplju, nakon završenih međunarodnih postdiplomskih studija, na engleskom jeziku, pod pokroviteljstvom DAAD-a.

Od aprila do jula 2006. godine bio član istraživačkog tima za seizmičke probleme u institutu RWTH, Lehrstuhl für Baustatik und Baudynamic, Ahen, Nemačka.

Doktorsku disertaciju odbranio 2013. godine na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka, Univerzitet u Novom Sadu.

U zvanje docenta na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka, Univerzitet u Novom Sadu, za užu naučnu oblast Teorija konstrukcija i upravljanje rizikom od katastrofalnih događaja i požara, izabran 2014. godine.

U zvanje vanrednog profesora na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka, Univerzitet u Novom Sadu, za užu naučnu oblast Upravljanje rizikom od katastrofalnih događaja i požara, izabran 2019. godine.
