Milutin Nikolić je rođen 18. jula 1984. godine u Novom Sadu. Završio je Osnovnu školu "Žarko Zrenjanin" u Novom Sadu. Završio je matematički smer Gimnazije Jovan Jovanović-Zmaj takođe u Novom Sadu kao đak generacije, sa brojnim nagradama na republičkim i saveznim takmičenjima iz fizike, matematike i programiranja. U periodu 2003-2008 studirao je na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka u Novom Sadu, na odseku mehatronika, usmerenje mehatronika robotika i automatizacija. Stručnu praksu je obavio u firmi Lafarž-BFC u Beočinu. Diplomirao je 30. septembra 2008. godine sa prosekom ocena tokom studija 10,00. Tema diplomskog rada bila je "O biološkim principima održavanja dinamičkog balansa poze humanoidnih robota". Doktorske studije je upisao 2008 godine na Fakultetu tehničkih nauka, na smeru za industrijsko inženjerstvo, usmerenje mehatronika, robotika i automatizacija. U zvanje saradnika u nastavi izabran je 1. oktobra 2008. i radi pri Katedri za mehatroniku, robotiku i automatizaciju.
