Mirko Raković received his M.Sc. in electrical engineering and computer sciences, and his Ph.D. in robotics, both from the University of Novi Sad. He is Assistant Professor of robotics and mechatronics at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences. He and his group at UNS are currently pursuing research in biped locomotion, human-robot interaction, prioritization framework in presence of multiple contacts, robotics as assistive technology in CP treatment and application of robotics in architecture.

Raković is a member of the IEEE RAS and IEEE CIS societies and he serves as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences in the area of robotics and AI systems. Up to now, he published more than 50 papers in international and national journals and conferences, and he is involved in several national, bilateral and multilateral international research projects. During his professional career, he was also working as research associate at NTU Singapore and Technikum Vienna, and as a visiting professor at SRH Heidelberg. He has been invited to give talks/lectures in several prestige robotic and AI schools in Europe such as Italian Institute of Technology, Dept. of Advanced Robotics, in March 2016, University of Heidelberg, IWR Robotics Lab, in February 2016, and University of Lisbon, IST/ISR, in September 2016.
