Introduction of students to characteristics of basic measuring devices, specificity of measurement of typical thermal-process variables, as well as instructing for the use of measuring and control equipment in thermal-process technique.
Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of measurement and regulation techniques.
Significance of measurement, control and management in thermal-process techniques, general concepts. Functional analysis of the operation of measuring devices. General characteristics of measuring devices. Errors in engineering measurements. Measuring units and standard. Measurement of temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, composition of combustion products, etc. The concept of regulating the process. Measuring, regulation and acquisition systems.
Lectures. Practical, calculation and laboratory exercises, consultations. The exam is written. The examination is based on the success of the written exam, the defense of laboratory exercises and the attendance at lectures and exercises.
