Miroslav Stefanović was born in 1975 in Loznica. He enrolled in the bachelor academic studies of engineering management at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad in 2010. He earned the title of management engineer in 2013, after successfully defending the final thesis entitled "Application of personal computer networks in organizational systems". He completed his bachelor academic studies, on the information management module, in 2014 with an average grade of 9.98/10, after successfully defending the thesis titled "Development path of a company: Example of Hattrick ltd".
He started his master's academic studies in the study program of information systems engineering at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 2014 and graduated in 2016, with an average grade of 9.90/10, after successfully defending the master's thesis titled "Proposal of a domain model for ensuring data integrity real estate cadastre".
He enrolled in doctoral academic studies in the study program industrial engineering/engineering management, information and communication systems, at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 2016 and graduated in 2023, with an average grade of 10/10, by defended doctoral dissertation entitled "Model of Architecture of Land Administration System Based on Blockchain Technology".
In the period between 2010 and 2015, Miroslav Stefanović was employed first as a professional associate, and then as a maintenance engineer in the Computer Network and Computer Maintenance Service of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
Since 2015, he has been employed at the Department of Information and Communication Systems, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, first as a teaching associate, and then as an assistant-master.
In that period, he was engaged in teaching in the study programs of information systems engineering, industrial engineering and engineering management in the subjects Object-oriented information technologies, Architecture of information systems and computer networks, Design patterns, Development of software products, Reengineering of information systems, Spatial information systems and Web-oriented information technologies.
He also published more than 10 papers in scientific journals and at international and national scientific gatherings and conferences, mostly in a narrow field of interest.
